Evergreen Marble Bathroom
INTRO
Hello again! We are glad to see you here. Today we will be walking you through the before, during, and after process for our Evergreen Marble Bathroom renovation! This bathroom was designed specifically for our client’s daughter. This special ensuite bathroom is meant to reflect her timeless style and create a space she can enjoy for years to come. Wouldn’t you love to have a bathroom like that?
BEFORE
This project was initiated because the original bathtub developed a leak that left the bathing area unusable. Much like our Jack and Jill Transitional Bath, we wanted to give our client a space that was simple, sweet, and timeless with just a hint of femininity. Let’s take a walk!
DURING
We demoed everything in this bathroom, replacing the existing tub with a new one in a more modern silhouette. We built in a shampoo niche for toiletry storage and updated all tile in the bathroom. The quartz backsplash on the vanity was cut from a custom template we made with the client to ensure we achieved exactly the shape she envisioned, taking into account the arched vanity mirror. Some other special details included v-groove paneling on the wall, mixed metal finishes on the accents, and quartz counters with a honed finish. The bathroom walls are painted Sherwin Williams Aesthetic White with a satin sheen while the vanity is Sherwin Williams Evergreen Fog – hence our name for the project. This allowed the vanity to stand out against the bright walls in a beautiful way. The ceiling, trim, and doors are painted in Sherwin Williams Greek Villa. We chose black honed quartz for the vanity, creating a contrasting yet complementary look with the walls and accentuating the beauty of the vanity. The geometric shape of the marble mosaic floor tile gives a touch of classic charm, and gold accents bring just the right amount of warmth to the palette.
While the bathroom is predominantly black and white, the green tone on the vanity pairs perfectly with the gold accents to bring that hint of femininity we ultimately wanted.
AFTER
In contrast to the basic beige original bathroom, our new design gives an updated elegant and sophisticated feel to this space. The style is timeless and suits our client perfectly. We are beyond thrilled with these results and we know our client is too!
Would you like to update your bathroom like this? We hope this inspired you to take the next steps and make that dream a reality!
We will see you next time here on the blog. Have a blessed rest of your day!
