2020 was a rough year for many. Despite the world wide pandemic, we very carefully managed to complete our Juniper + Gold project and we are very excited to share our results with you.  Join us as we take you through the entire process from start to finish and see how this master bathroom became a true showstopper!

Before we got started, the master bathroom was a cluttered and outdated space with a cramped layout. The bathtub was sunken into a recessed area, and the small shower was tucked away in a dark nook. Although the windows behind the vanity provided natural light, they didn’t contribute significantly to the overall aesthetics and hindered an efficient layout.

Our goals for this project were to update the lighting for a brighter space, overhaul the bathroom layout for maximum space and efficiency, and bring the design into line with our clients’ preferred aesthetic.

We demoed the entire bathroom to create a blank canvas for our renovation. Once everything was cleared out, we framed new walls for the transformed layout.

The lighting in the bathroom was updated to LED recessed can lights and Schoolhouse accent sconces over the vanities. We installed custom cabinetry, as well as pocket doors for the master closet and water closet to maximize space. Our client enjoys her makeup and skincare routine, so we designed and built a separate vanity space opposite of the main vanity for these tasks.

Roca St. Tropez ceramic tiles were installed on the shower walls and a Carrara marble mosaic was chosen for the shower floor. The focal point of this bathroom is the Interceramic Ripple tile in Juniper on the vanity wall, contrasted with the beautiful Carrara marble on the floor. The ProStone Elite Pure White quartz countertops really pop against the Acacia Haze cabinets.

Brizo fixtures in Luxe Gold paired with Ruth knobs in satin brass complete the look. Aren’t these finishing touches just gorgeous?!

Completing a project during a pandemic was no easy task, but we are very proud of this renovation project and our clients were pleased with the results. What was once a cramped, cluttered, and outdated space is now a beautiful, spacious getaway for personal rest and relaxation.
