Your estimate will include a detailed list of materials you’ll be selecting and ordering, and you’ll have access to our Customer Portal where your designer sets up personalized To-Do tasks with a clear timeline of when decisions need to be made and materials need to be ordered. We also schedule a design consultation where we’ll visit your space together and then head to our vendors to walk through material options in person, so you never feel like you’re making these decisions alone.

We make every effort to plastic off furniture and floors and cordon off work areas to reduce the tracking of dust to other areas of the home. Some dust is to be expected, but our workers clean up the project area at the end of every work day to minimize this.
For many projects, 50% of the estimated cost is due before work begins, and the remaining 50% is due upon project completion. However, for larger jobs that require significant material purchases or take longer to complete, we often require four installments of 25% of the total project cost.
Any changes that you consider making during your project are subject to a possible change in cost and change in project schedule. All of these changes will be submitted to you in writing before the change is made to enable you to adjust your plans or budget to accommodate.
Yes. Our General Contractor Agreement is signed by both client and contractor before any work begins. This contract explains that our price estimate for your project is fixed unless the client changes the scope of work or unforeseen repairs arise that were not able to be predicted ahead of time. We also provide a project schedule as our best estimate of the time it will take to complete the project.
We don’t start tomorrow, but we do start right. While timelines vary based on project size and complexity, we kick off the planning phase shortly after approval so your renovation is already in motion. Your project planning phase is not a delay, it’s an investment in a smoother, higher-quality experience and final result. Rushed projects lead to regrets. We’d rather get it right, and so would you!
We do not give ballpark costs, as we need to do the work to complete an estimate to know the full cost of your project. A wild guess without the proper preparation isn’t helpful for our clients, as it doesn’t give them an accurate expectation of cost.
We are happy to bid any projects you plan to complete within the next year. Due to rapidly changing costs, we do not bid any projects that you don’t expect to complete during this time.
Consultations and estimates for one area or room are complementary. If you’d like us to bid multiple areas there is a $150 consultation fee for a 90 minute consultation.
Our estimates are fully customized and take an average of 2-4 weeks after your consultation depending on scope.
