For example any concern or minor fix that I asked to be fixed was always immediately done. I was never made to feel picky but instead felt understood. Also, all of the subcontractors were wonderful. This is a big one because during the construction process we lived in our home and I had some concerns initially about how it would be having guys working around the house when my kids are out playing and such. Every subcontractor was wonderful. Always considerate that it was our home, always cleaning up at the end of the day so it was as safe as possible for our kids. They would drive carefully up our driveway always watching for our kids. It made it so easy to live in our home while they did construction. We got to know many of them and they are all solid people. We recently hired the Irwin Construction team to update our late 1990s bathroom that had seen a DIY change before we purchased our home. The space was something of a mess. We had cultured marble counters, seashell sinks, a teeny-tiny stall shower with a shower curtain that didn’t help keep water in or cold air our, and cabinetry that didn’t allow for effective storage. We gave Kelly and Jeremy our dreams and our budgetary limitations. They then helped us work through what we could update in our price-range and what would benefit us to keep and to not blow the scope of our project. We chose to demolish the existing linen closet to double the size of the shower space, add tile floors and tile all the way to the high ceiling, and make the shower a double-head, with frameless glass enclosure. We also ripped out the old cabinetry in favor of many drawers, a quartz countertop and new fixtures. Kelly and Jeremy provided incredibly helpful design and scope advise through the planning stages, and Tzahhia made sure to touch base with us each day to find out how we were doing and let us know what the next steps would be. At every stage we felt heard and knew that we could communicate any concerns or questions and receive a swift response.After living through the never-ending frustration that many a DIY project can yield, having the professional, courteous, skilled, quality teams at Irwin Construction perform the updates to our bathroom was the best choice we could have made.”

“The workers that were working in my home, I felt like they were my family. They were all so accommodating. I had family functions going on at the same time as they were doing construction, and I just loved every step. I had a book club over and we just laid out all my food in the scullery and just had so much room to entertain and I just love to have. A home that makes people feel peaceful and calm and I feel like instead of cluttered and cramped now I feel like I have those spaces and so I love it. I just really admire and respect the work they do. I think they do it till they’re completely satisfied. The other thing that I really appreciated is I felt so supported. There was one situation where the door wasn’t exactly the stain that I wanted it to be, and so I, I texted Kelley and within an hour, Kelley and Jeremy were standing in my kitchen looking at it with me and helping me come up with a solution. And so I always felt very supported. I never felt like, um, I had to. Figure it out on my own. They were always there and they always made it better than what I expected it to be. One thing I just really appreciated was that they made sure that the dust was contained. I’m very allergic and every night they left me a space so that they, so I could cook and I would tell ’em I’ll just order food, but they wouldn’t let me. They always cleaned up every night before they left, and I really appreciated that.I feel like it’s what I would design if I was saying what would be an ideal home. And now I feel like I have it.”

We recently hired the Irwin Construction team to update our late 1990s bathroom that had seen a DIY change before we purchased our home. The space was something of a mess. We had cultured marble counters, seashell sinks, a teeny-tiny stall shower with a shower curtain that didn’t help keep water in or cold air our, and cabinetry that didn’t allow for effective storage. We gave Kelly and Jeremy our dreams and our budgetary limitations. They then helped us work through what we could update in our price-range and what would benefit us to keep and to not blow the scope of our project. We chose to demolish the existing linen closet to double the size of the shower space, add tile floors and tile all the way to the high ceiling, and make the shower a double-head, with frameless glass enclosure. We also ripped out the old cabinetry in favor of many drawers, a quartz countertop and new fixtures. Kelly and Jeremy provided incredibly helpful design and scope advise through the planning stages, and Tzahhia made sure to touch base with us each day to find out how we were doing and let us know what the next steps would be. At every stage we felt heard and knew that we could communicate any concerns or questions and receive a swift response.After living through the never-ending frustration that many a DIY project can yield, having the professional, courteous, skilled, quality teams at Irwin Construction perform the updates to our bathroom was the best choice we could have made.”
